I feel like topics on:
User settings. How to adjust basics like signature, avatar, notifications settings.
How to navigate the menus up top “for dummies” style.
Look at the layout here from the perspective of someone completely unfamiliar with this forum software.
For me, coming from the old standby forum styles like Vbulletin, this place was very counter intuitive and nothing personal on anyone who helped decide this setup was ideal…. but it doesn’t feel that way. This software feels designed for people already familiar with apps like Telegram, reddit.
That’s not in my opinion, going to be most people who join. The harder a forum is to figure out the higher your bounce rate.
I guess my main point is, you can’t assume your members are all going to be up to speed with all the latest online tech….. AND expect to grow this place, and I assume thats one of the main ideas here.
