Hello All,
Just want to give you my 2 cents. I think BFR as BD has explained it is a really good idea. In my opinion though this should be done appx 24 hours after an enlargement session. Conceptually, after a PE session you have caused micro damage to tissue and you want to allow your body system to remove interstitial fluid caused by the damage. By shunting off you can actually slow or inhibit you healing process possibly decreasing gains. If you wait till this micro edema has cleared and do BFR, you may have better gains. I am a PT, similar to Perv (I think he is) and have a large knowledge base dealing with soft tissue and healing. Didn’t want to get too crazy in the weeds of the science and based my assumptions on tissue, healing, and BFR principles. FYI, I do a day on day off for PE sessions and 2 x week on day off do 10 min of BFR. I am new to the PE world but def know about the body and its mechanics having a doctorate as a rehab specialist. Cheers everyone and happy growing!!
