I’ve been tinkering with my rest/work ratio. Currently, I train interval length and pumping protocol for two days on then one day off with a 4-6 day break every 6 weeks or so. I haven’t noted signs of overtraining, based on EQ only slightly dipping (90%). Does anyone have insights/observations from active recovery on rest days or are we just “hands-off” on non-training days? Currently, on my off days I do a few semi-erect massages with light manuals and lots of skin conditioning efforts (Vitamin E, lotion, etc.). Any insights would be appreciated.
