Okay, a genuine question on collagen.
I have been taking Accutane (isotretinoin 20mg) for 5 months now which increases collagen.
Studies demonstrated “a statistically significant increase in collagen fibers and overall skin improvement (wrinkle, skin texture, and colouration) in the treatment group with either 10 or 20 mg isotretinoin thrice weekly for three months.”
Now, my derm is telling me to take collagen powder 5g daily with protein shakes for my skin.
Do you think collagen powder might make it difficult to gain as the tunica might feed on the collagen supplements?
