I am curious on a topic that I believe has been discussed quite a bit on the reddit and then from the videos that BD has posted on his routine.

Is it good and applicable to do length AND girth work each session? Is it worth it? I believe BD did touch on this in one of his earlier videos but would like some guidenace on this.

I started again in the new year and do apex extending interval as a beginner for 10×1 fatigue and 5×5 strain, at around 5lbs using the apex clip which gets me that about 5%, break for like 5 minutes, then do interval pumping for 5×2 at around 7inhg. Every other day

Would it be more beneficial to focus on length than trying to do both?

    2 months later

FirstLastPerson I try to make my entire routine as efficient as possible, Time is a valuable commodity. I have done length and girth since the beginning, I gained .75″ girth and 2.0″ length in about 27months. Considering how slow the gains come I am glad I did both from the beginning. I learned to refine my routines at the same time as there is a learning curve for each and they take a few months to figure out what works for you and what doesn`t. Whether one hinders the other or not, I could not say. I hit a plateau in length but my girth continued to grow, so that was very confusing. So in that respect it was beneficial that I was doing both simultaneously. I recently started gaining length again and will continue this unless something more efficient comes to light. The details of a routine will have slightly different outcomes from person to person, so only you can decide what to try, although for time and gains sake I would recomment at least trying to do both if your time permits.
